PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

The Way I See It is a student photography and essay contest that invites young people in Dominica to share their unique perspectives on nature through imagery and reflection. Participants are asked to submit an original photograph of the natural environment, accompanied by a written essay exploring how the subject impacted them and how they conveyed their perspective through composition, color, and visual storytelling.

This contest celebrates creativity, observation, and personal voice, encouraging students to see their differences, experiences, and viewpoints as strengths.

The competition is held in honor of Christopher Costello, who believed deeply that our differences are gifts, and that by uplifting one another, we create space for everyone to pursue their dreams. Through this contest, students are encouraged to express how their island inspires them.
