EcoQuest Adventures
EcoQuest is an elementary-level education program that uses a scavenger hunt themed curriculum to turn Dominica’s rich biomes into outdoor classrooms. Designed specifically for younger learners, the program encourages curiosity, movement, and hands-on discovery while introducing foundational concepts in conservation, ecology, and agriculture.
Through guided explorations, students follow themed quests that invite them to observe plants, animals, soils, water, and food systems in their local environment. Each activity is designed to help students understand how ecosystems work, why they matter, and how healthy land and water support community wellbeing and food independence. From a very young age the program builds:
- Environmental awareness and stewardship
- Early science and observation skills
- Understanding of agriculture and food systems
- Teamwork, curiosity, and problem-solving
