Our Leadership

The leadership of Wild Dominica Conservancy is guided by science and grounded in stewardship. Our board brings together environmental experts, educational leaders, and cultural advocates dedicated to protecting Dominica’s natural heritage. Rooted in a shared sense of responsibility and community, we lead with integrity, collaboration, and a deep commitment to the island of Dominica.

Environmental scientist, entrepreneur, and director whose 18-year career spans natural-resource management, environmental planning and coastal restoration. She founded Gaia’s Essence company to empower women through health, community and environment, Her feature documentary Women of Dominica celebrates intergenerational mentorship, matriarchal wisdom and the conservation of Dominica’s natural heritage. Bridging science and culture, she now leads the Conservancy with a global vision grounded in local stewardship.

Education specialist, anthropologist, and lawyer dedicated to the arts, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Her work explores globalization, language, and culture with a focus on ecology, education, and Indigenous rights. Holding a Master of Laws in Transnational Crime and Justice, she specializes in humanitarian and environmental law. Currently serving as a state director for a federal education grant promoting safe and healthy schools, she continues to champion cultural diversity and amplify marginalized voices.

With over 25 years designing and implementing educational programs for children, families, adults, schools, libraries and wellness centres, Jacqueline blends creativity with holistic practices. She is the author of Animooves: Yoga & Creativity Inspired by Animals, a Mom’s Choice Gold Award recipient. Certified in yoga, herbalism and therapeutic writing, Jacqueline holds a Diploma with Distinction in Education from the London Montessori Centre and graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. John’s University.
