Our board brings together environmental experts, educational leaders, and cultural advocates dedicated to protecting Dominica’s natural heritage. Rooted in a shared sense of responsibility and community, we lead with integrity, collaboration, and a deep commitment to the island of Dominica.

Environmental scientist, entrepreneur, and director whose 18-year career spans natural-resource management, environmental planning and coastal restoration. She founded Gaia’s Essence company to empower women through health, community and environment, Her feature documentary Women of Dominica celebrates intergenerational mentorship, matriarchal wisdom and the conservation of Dominica’s natural heritage. Bridging science and culture, she now leads the Conservancy with a global vision grounded in local stewardship.

Treasurer – Board of Directors

Education specialist, anthropologist, and attorney with extensive experience managing and monitoring large-scale, federally funded education grants within a U.S. state education system. Currently serves with the Utah Department of Education as the Utah State Educator Exit and Engagement Survey Administrator and Title IV, Part A: Stronger Connections Federal Grant Manager, overseeing statewide program implementation, compliance, fiscal accountability, and reporting. Holds an LL.M. in Transnational Crime and Justice, with a focus on humanitarian and environmental law.

With over 25 years designing and implementing educational programs for children, families, adults, schools, libraries and wellness centres, Jacqueline blends creativity with holistic practices. She is the author of Animooves: Yoga & Creativity Inspired by Animals, a Mom’s Choice Gold Award recipient. Certified in yoga, herbalism and therapeutic writing, Jacqueline holds a Diploma with Distinction in Education from the London Montessori Centre and graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. John’s University.
